What's new in November? ❄️

In November, we launched a highly requested feature in Busy; project tasks πŸ“ Β Additionally, we have focused on performance and stability, which has reduced loading time in Busy by up to 600%!

‍

Tasks – a new dimension when tracking time.

Many companies have fixed tasks that has to be completed for each project. Often, time spent per task has to be reported to the client during billing. Some companies are even required by law to complete a fixed set of tasks and be able to document their completion.

‍

These use-cases can now be solved in Busy! Use the integration with 24SevenOffice to administer tasks using their advanced task templates, or manage the tasks directly in Busy.

‍

‍

Activate tasks from Settings β†’ General β†’ Beta.‍

Read more about tasks in our support article (in Norwegian).

‍

‍

Capacity overview

Another new feature is the capacity overview. This feature is just out of Beta, so expect many changes in the coming weeks. Set the timeline view to "Overview" and choose "Capacity" on the right hand side. This gives you access to all the employees' workdays, comparing the tracked time to their timebank capacity.

‍

‍

Use the colors to find out if there is too much or little time tracked in a period. The capacity overview is perfect to find missing time tracking or long periods with too much overtime.

‍

Red color = Time registered below capacity.

Green color = Time registered at capacity.

Blue color = Time registered above capacity.

‍

‍

Payroll export – Create you own salary types

As part of a larger focus on salary, vacation and leave, we have started with improving our payroll export. You can now export a payroll export file directly to NettlΓΈnn, in addition to our existing systems. Finally, you can additionally create, edit and archive custom salary types directly in Busy.

‍

‍

‍

Better support for overtime in the timebank

We have added two new types to the timebank. Overtime can be used for tracking time that should trigger an overtime supplemental pay. Add the correct supplement in percent and the addition will be automatically included in the timebank. The supplement can then be paid out or used for time off.

‍

If you for instance connect your companies' tag for "50% Overtime" to the timebank-type "Overtime" and set a supplement of 50%, every hour tracked on this tag will automatically generate 1.5 hours in time balance.

‍

‍

‍

Export the timebank table

You can now export the timebank table to Excel. Perfect if you want to share the table with employees or want to create visualizations of the data.

‍

‍

These are some of the most important changes in November. As mentioned, we had a large focus on performance and stability as well, which will give a better user experience with less error messages and faster time tracking in the time ahead.
